I recommend and sell Skito pads, and have used them for endurance riding for over 20 years. Skito makes a pad to fit every saddle made, so your pad will be a perfect fit to your saddle. Skito has two basic types of saddle pads, the Skito Equalizer®and the Skito Equalizer with Dryback®^. Both are orthopedic saddle pads with open-celled urethane foam, profiled to the weight bearing area of the saddle, and encased in a variety of covers secured with a patented Velcro closure.The foam absorbs up to 90% of the impact shock of riding. The open-celled structure of the foam encourages moisture and heat absorption from the horses's back. The pad design approximates the curve of the horse's back. The Velcro envelope on either side of the spine enables the addition of shims.

Foam density is key with regards to comfort, support and durability. Skito offers two types of foam density: one for light to mid weight range, and one that will support a heavier weight range. For the Treeless Saddle advocate, all of the foam inserts are beveled to eliminate pressure points and allow your leg to lay closer to the animal. Skito has also developed laminated foam inserts for spinal protection and Lexan inserts for penetrating seat bones.
