TTEAM Equipment
Training bit (Rollerbit)
Used in TTEAM Training, this bit is especially effective for horses who are heavy on the forehand, strung out, ewe-necked and stiff in the back or hind quarters. The stainless steel bit has a 7" shank with a copper roller and is designed to be used with two reins. The shank is loose and curved back, which has a softening effect on the mouth, poll and back. Sizes: 5, 5-1/2 and 5-3/4 inch mouthpiece. Used with Double Reins. Comes with instruction sheet on fitting and using.
This is a great bit for training. You will immediately see a change in your horse's topline and hind-end engagement. Great for horses that are over-energetic, without being severe. I'll use it for the first loop or two on a ride untill my horse settles down, and then change into the Lindell. This was Becky Hart's bit of choice for Rio. (see picture on "About Naomi" page, of Becky & Rio).
"Hi Naomi,
Wanted to tell you I tried out the Tteam bit on Annie tonight and it was amazing. Like riding a different horse. She dropped her head from her withers and really picked up her back and drove off her hind end. It was just in the arena tonight and I am really looking forward to giving it a try on a faster conditioning ride. This just may be her bit :)
Take care,
